After 30 years of working in various construction trades, JG Marshall decided in 2002 to pursue his dream of building new homes. Since then, Sagewood Builders has built a wide variety of custom and spec homes and barns on acreages in Douglas, Elbert and Arapahoe counties in Colorado.
Working mainly from his own plan drawings, JG is able to make the most of Colorado’s terrain and views setting the home on the lot to maximize to appeal of our home buyers. He can make changes to his plans, work from your plans or start from scratch to plan a home to suit your special wants and needs.
Paulette, JG’s wife, is also actively involved in the business. Licensed as Real Estate broker and owner of her own brokerage in Elizabeth, CO, Paulette keeps abreast of the current market conditions and trends. Paulette is very much involved in helping to define the features and options that make each new home unique and one that meets the home buyer’s needs and budget.
From design to completion, it is our personal involvement and attention to detail that makes our homes special. Every Sagewood Builder home is built with 2X6” exterior walls, R19/R38 insulation packages, Low “e” windows, 3-4 car garages big enough for the crew cab dually or SUV, a host of standards that other builders treat as upgrades.
